Business Lincolnshire announce new support programme for Pubs in Greater Lincolnshire and Rutland

The Pub Diversification Programme aims to support all types of projects that pubs may be considering. Potential improvements could include creating overnight accommodation, retail services, additional facilities for walkers and cyclists, motorhome hook up points in the car park, electric vehicle charging points and more.

Visit Lincoln Business Research

Visit Lincoln has started a 12-month research programme across Greater Lincolnshire with thousands of visitors, residents and students. This research will allow them to properly understand what’s needed (now and in the future) to have a thriving and well-connected visitor economy across Lincolnshire.

Views needed on Sleaford town centre

North Kesteven District Council is currently developing a vision for revitalising Sleaford Town Centre. This study will explore the potential for physical improvements within the town centre area, reviewing the 2011 Sleaford Masterplan and taking into account the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Holdingham roundabout improvements reach midway point

Works to add new approach lanes and traffic lights at the Holdingham roundabout are now more than halfway complete. Once works are complete the new roundabout will ease congestion, increase capacity and improve traffic flow in all directions.

Beware of scammers

Criminals are using the COVID-19 vaccine as a way to target the public by tricking them to hand over cash or financial details. They are sending convincing-looking text messages letting people know they are eligible for the vaccine or phoning people directly pretending to be from the NHS, or local pharmacy. People are warned to be alert to these scams.
