After months of renovation works to a historic barn, built in circa 1700, Rosey Barn now welcomes guests to stay.
The Economic Development team have been working with Rosey Barn to offer our services of business support. Michelle Tasker, Economic Development Manager says, “it’s been exciting to follow the development of this project. We’re pleased to see it now open for business and wish it every success in its new venture”.
The barn, originally part of a working farm, had remained for centuries. When we acquired the property, we saw the potential to preserve its heritage, while creating a warm and welcoming space for guests.
It’s historic charm stems from its origin as a barn and stable. During the restoration process, we retained many of its original features, including the brick walls and the narrow windows, resulting in a blend of rich heritage with modern comfort.
Rosey Barn is of a generous size and comfortably accommodates two guests. With underfloor heating on the ground floor, guests can enjoy the spacious kitchen and contemporary bathroom. Upstairs you’ll find the cozy living room with all you need for a relaxing break, including a smart TV, book collection, and a view of the ground floor kitchen. Besides the living area, is the bedroom and king-size bed, with a stunning view of the nearby Church.
Our accommodation is suitable for couples, business travelers, or anyone exploring the area.
